Your account, under your control
An account with no password to forget
Your access to Ikiraro doesn't depend on a password someone could guess or leak in someone else's data breach. It depends on your wallet and the signatures you authorize with it. That removes the most common risk of any online account, but shifts the responsibility to you: nobody can recover access to your wallet on your behalf, so your account's security tools are designed to give you full visibility and control over what happens with it.
What you can manage
Linked wallets
Link more than one wallet to your account and choose which one to operate with at any time, without losing your history.
Account password
If you sign in with email, you can change your password whenever you want from your security settings.
Account activity
A log of the important events on your account: what happened and when, so you can spot anything you do not recognise.
Full control
You can unlink a wallet, review the invitations you have received to operate other stores, or close your account, without going through support.
Your verification (KYC) protects you too
Verifying your identity isn't just a requirement to sell: it's also what sets your account apart from any anonymous wallet. If someone tries to impersonate you, verification is the first barrier they'd have to cross.
Good practices that are up to you
- Never share your seed phrase or private key: Ikiraro will never ask you for it.
- Check what you're signing before approving it, not just on Ikiraro, on any site.
- If you sell something high-value, consider using a wallet dedicated only to that activity.
- Revoke permissions for apps you no longer use, even ones unrelated to Ikiraro.
